Moment+ funds the platform without ads. It unlocks Hub creation, custom themes, the long archive, and a few small comforts. The free tier is intentionally good — fully featured for the daily ritual itself. The paid tier is for people who want to organise things.

Why it costs anything

Honest economics.

Running a social network costs money. Storage, bandwidth, twenty-some people who work here, the safety team that actually answers reports. There are three ways to pay for that. We picked the boring one.

Ads

The default. Free for users, your attention becomes the product. We’re not doing this.

Data sale

Free, you get a slick app, your inner life becomes a CSV file someone’s data team uses. Also no.

Subscription

You pay a small amount. We work for you. Boring, durable, easy to explain. This one.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel inside the app, two taps. You keep Moment+ until the end of your current period. We don’t hide the button or ask you to talk to anyone.

What happens to my hubs if I cancel?

Hubs you organise stay live for thirty days after Moment+ lapses. In that window, you can transfer organiser rights to another Moment+ member, or let them archive. Members keep their access to past hub content either way.

Do you do refunds?

Annual plans: full refund within fourteen days, no questions. Monthly plans: refund pro-rata for unused time if you cancel for a reason that’s on us (an outage, a policy change you don’t like). For other reasons, contact help@dailymoment.social — we mostly say yes.

Is there a family plan?

Not yet. We will probably do this. We’re thinking up to five people, around twelve dollars a month. Email hello@dailymoment.social if this matters to you and we’ll prioritise.

Is there a student discount?

Yes. WELCOME21 at signup gives a free month if your email ends in .edu. We’ll probably add other education suffixes if you ask.

Is there a free trial of Moment+?

Seven days, automatic, no card up front for waitlist members. We don’t auto-charge — you opt in to subscribe at the end of the trial, or it just stops.

What about the “brand prompt” thing?

Brand-sponsored daily prompts are how we keep Free workable. They’re labelled, opt-in, and capped at one a week. Moment+ subscribers can hide them entirely.

What if I can’t afford this?

Write to hello@dailymoment.social with a sentence. We have a small fund for people who’d use Moment+ but for whom $5.99 is a real expense. No documentation required.
