Your kitchen at sunrise. The dog mid-zoomie. Hold to record; at sixty seconds the camera closes. No filters, no retakes pressure, no editing timeline.
Voice · up to 60s
Sometimes a sound says it better. A minute of your morning, your thoughts, the rain outside. Shown as a waveform, played once, no transcript theatre.
Photo · one frame
One photo, one caption, up to 500 characters of context. The original format, refined to its essence.
Who sees it
Three circles. You choose every time.
Every moment is posted to exactly one audience. There’s no “friends except” list to maintain and no algorithm deciding reach.
- Public — anyone on DailyMoment, and your Hubs
- Followers — people you’ve let follow you (follow up to 200)
- Inner Circle — up to 15 people free, 50 with Moment+
The daily cap
Why only one?
Scarcity is the design principle. One post a day means every moment you see was chosen, and every moment you share was worth it. It also keeps the feed finite — and keeps DailyMoment from ever needing to chase your attention to pay its bills.
What if I miss a day?
Nothing happens. There's no streak to break, no badge to lose, no guilt notification. Tomorrow is tomorrow's.
Can I delete and repost?
You can delete today's moment. Whether that frees a second post is a beta rule we're validating with members — right now the default is one per local day, full stop.
Do moments disappear?
Your feed shows today. With Moment+ you can Replay your own past moments; your Inner Circle sees what you choose to keep.
Is there a feed at all?
Yes — one chronological feed of today's moments from the people you follow, plus your Hubs. When you reach the bottom, that's the bottom.
